From the prehistoric longnose gar that have barely changed in millions of years, to the mummichogs that survived space travel, and the quirky pirate perch with its upside-down anatomy, we’ll explore how these unusual fish survive and why they are an important, and entertaining, part of Maryland’s aquatic world.
