Montgomery Village Independence Day Parade and Celebration

Parade, Live Music, Carnival Rides, Yard Games, Petting Zoo, Pony Rides, and Festival Food for sale

Time: Park your car by 9:30 a.m. sharp before Apple Ridge Road closes. Parking is available at Watkins Mill High School, Apple Ridge Recreation Area (accessible parking), MVF Office and North Creek Lake Park.

The Parade will begin at 10 a.m. sharp and the route will be straight down Apple Ridge Road, starting at  Montgomery Village Avenue and ending at Apple Ridge Recreation Area. 

Be a Parade participant! Show up at 9:30 a.m. in the parking lot of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (20020 Montgomery Village Avenue) in your best red, white and blue costume and walk in the Parade!

Lake Whetstone Boat Dock Open

Boat rentals are available from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. every Saturday throughout the summer. Rental fees can be paid by cash or credit card. The Lake Whetstone Boat Dock closes for the season on Saturday, Aug. 30.
