Stedwick Pool and Bathhouse renovation concept discussed at January MVF Board meeting

At the January 25 Montgomery Village Foundation (MVF) Board of Directors meeting, the Board reviewed two concepts for design/build services for the renovation of the Stedwick Pool and Bathhouse, 10401 Stedwick Road, and authorized MVF EVP Mike Conroy to negotiate a contract with Keller Brothers, Inc. for design/build services for the renovation project.

Montgomery County offers free tax help for income-eligible residents

Good news for income-eligible Montgomery County residents. Residents with household incomes of $64,000 or less can now schedule free tax appointments with the Community Action Agency's Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program.

Metro eliminates $2 SmarTrip card fee for seniors

Metro’s Board of Directors has approved the elimination of the $2 fee on Senior SmarTrip® cards. Beginning on Tuesday, Jan. 16, Senior SmarTrip cards will be issued at no cost to customers ages 65 and older.
