Montgomery County has informed Montgomery Village Foundation that a toe drain at Lake Marion Dam has experienced a partial collapse.
On November 6, Monument Realty presented their concept of replacing 8 single-family (SFH) detached home lots with 7 strings of townhomes (TH) along the still-to-be-built extension of Stewartown Road in Area 2 of the Bloom Village development.
In an email from Evergreen Investment Company received Friday, Nov. 10, Land Use Attorney Heather Dlhopolsky said, “the owner of Evergreen has decided to terminate the project, so we will not be moving forward.”

At the October 26 Montgomery Village Foundation (MVF) Board of Directors meeting, the Board approved the MVF Recreation and Parks Department’s Strategic Plan called, “MV: A More Active Tomorrow.” The department updated strategic priorities for its core provisions, which include aquatics, facilities, parks and programming.
