Provide input for Kaufmann Park playground replacement
The Montgomery Village Foundation (MVF) Department of Recreation and Parks is exploring options to replace the existing playground at Milton M. Kaufmann Park located at 9607 Wightman Road. This project presents an exciting opportunity to enhance the park with a new and improved play area for the community.
Community input is an important part of this process. MVF has developed a brief survey to gather community feedback that will help guide the playground replacement. The survey will be open through Friday, July 3, 2026. MVF welcomes your feedback so please take the survey.

In addition, MVF will host a Community Meeting on Zoom on Tuesday, June 30 at 7 p.m. Please mark your calendar and plan to join us for this important meeting.

Community input gathered at the Community Meeting and from the survey will be used to assist in the creation of a formal bid for proposal. Once contractors have submitted designs, another Community Meeting will be held to gather resident input on the proposed designs. MVF anticipates the new playground will be installed by spring 2027.
