Swim team registration open

Village swim teams provide one of the popular summer activities for Village children ages 4 to 18 (as of June 1 of the current year) whose families are members of Montgomery Village Foundation (MVF) pools. Montgomery Village Swim Teams are run by parent volunteers, not by MVF.

How do you become a member of the pool and which swim team do you belong to? Homeowners in good standing with MVF pay a quarterly assessment that includes access to the pools and community centers and are members of the pools. Families who live in condominiums or apartments and do not pay the assessment for pools and community centers but wish to join a swim team can “buy in” and purchase an MVF Pool Membership or a Swim Team Only pass. A valid MVF Pool Pass is required for entry. Additional swim team registration fees also apply.

Whetstone Whales

The Whetstone Swim Team is for families in the following communities: Club Hill, Clubside, Clusters I and II, Clusters III, Dockside, Fairway Islands, Forest Brooke, Frenchton Place, Grover’s Forge, The Hamptons, Hawthorne, The Heights, Maryland Place, Millrace, Nathan’s Hill, Poplar Spring, The Ridges of Stedwick, Whetstone, Wisteria.

“Buy-in” communities include: Center Court, Center Stage, Christopher Court, Heron’s Cove, Horizon Run, Normandie on the Lake I and II, Overlook Condos, Park Place I and II, Thomas Choice Condo, Thomas Choice Gardens, Thomas Choice West, Village Center Townhomes, Village Center Condos, Walker’s Choice.

North Creek Neptunes

Fees: $175 for first swimmer, $170 for each additional swimmer
Pre-Team: $165 for the first child, $160 for each additional child
