Keeping it festive: What is the rule for holiday decorations?
As we find ourselves in the midst of the holiday season, it is time to transition from spooky to seasonal cheer. Whether you plan to hang twinkling lights, set out an inflatable snowman, or display a classic holiday wreath, please keep in mind that all holiday decorations must be removed by Sunday, Feb. 1.
To help keep our community looking its best, there are a few simple guidelines. Holiday decorations may be installed up to 30 days before the holiday event and must be removed within 30 days after. This includes all types of seasonal décor, such as house and tree lights, hanging icicles, yard inflatables, wreaths and other festive displays. No formal approval is required for holiday decorations as long as you decorate within these timeframes.
As always, decorations should be placed safely and respectfully. Avoid obstructing sidewalks, common areas or neighboring properties to ensure everyone can enjoy the season in a safe and considerate manner.
We look forward to seeing the Village sparkle with holiday joy in the weeks ahead. Happy decorating!
