On July 11, volunteers, family members and friends gathered at Asbury Methodist Village to recognize three Gaithersburg Meals On Wheels volunteers. Senator Nancy King (also a resident of Montgomery Village) presented the citations. In the late 1980s to early 1990s, Senate King coordinated Gaithersburg Meals On Wheels and served on its Board.
