Time to spruce up the interior of your home

Spring and summer seasons are here, and Covenant Compliance Inspections will soon begin in South Village. Why wait to receive the letter reminding you to start repairs and spruce up your home? Look around and get a jump start on planning, repairing rotted wood and broken materials, and refreshing faded, chipped and peeling paint. Don’t forget to clean out backyards or courtyards, whichever may apply, and work with your neighbors on shared fencing, atriums and so forth. Please remember if you are spring-cleaning, moving or in need of bulk trash pickup, the South Village Board of Directors has made it easy and free for you. If you have a bulk pickup need, don’t leave your items on the grass or curbs and expect that your items will be cleared. Instead, call J&J Trash (1-800-465-2350) and schedule the free pickup. Please put out your trash cans only the night before or morning of your scheduled date.
Are you new to South Village? Do you want to get involved? The Board of Directors is looking for board member volunteers. As a new resident, you may be able to provide fresh ideas or insight into what you would like to see in South Village. As a longtime resident, you may want to share your ideas. Become part of the planning for how your assessment dollars are spent. Meetings are held virtually via Zoom and are open to all residents/owners of South Village.
