Seniors in Action

Per Governor Larry Hogan's Executive Order the in-person parts of the Seniors in Action program held Monday through Friday at Stedwick Community Center will be SUSPENDED until further notice. Virtual meetings and activities via Zoom are being held as follows:

Come Zoom with Seniors in Action, Mondays through Fridays! These are fun, interactive Zoom sessions for ages 55+ to keep you engaged, educated and having fun.

Mondays:
Zumba Gold® with Kirsten                          10 to 11 a.m.
Come learn new dance moves and stay active!

Bridge Online with Ralph                             1 to 3 p.m.

Tuesdays:
Games/Bingo                                             Noon to 1 p.m.

Come play word games, Bingo and fun interactive games. Learn something new each week.

Walking Club
AM or PM, you choose! Take pics of your daily walk or run and share your pictures at Happy Hour on alternating Fridays.

Book Club                                                  10 to 11:30 a.m., November 17
We will discuss works of fiction by any immigrants to the United States who write about trying to hold onto or preserve their culture.
This will also encompass Native American authors making similar efforts concerning their heritage. 


Wednesdays:
Video Yoga                                                 Noon to 1 p.m.

Bridge Online with Ralph                         1 to 3 p.m.

Craft & Laugh!                                           2 to 3 p.m.
Take your current project to your favorite Zoom location, share and laugh as we create and Zoom in the background.


Thursdays:
Chair One Fitness with Susan       11:45 a.m.to 12:45 p.m., November 12

Low and high-intensity cardio chair movement.
This program works great for those who have debilitating illnesses that keep them from being able to do stand-up exercise, but is also adapted to those who can stand with the help of a chair to help increase balance.

Stay Fit for Seniors with April        11 a.m. to noon, November 5 and 19
A fitness program designed specifically to help seniors maintain an active lifestyle and health education.


Friday:
Tea Time and Trivia                                   11 a.m. to noon

Bring your favorite beverage, relax, chat and play a game or two of Trivia.

Friday Night Happy Hour                          7 to 8 p.m.  
Nov. 6: A fun, interactive Laughter Yoga class with Larissa Johnson
Nov. 20: A fun game of “Who Am I?” We will look at pictures of members and MVF leaders. Enjoy the laughter as you see how many you can guess correctly.
