Seniors in Action

Per Governor Larry Hogan's Executive Order the in-person parts of the Seniors in Action program held Monday through Friday at Stedwick Community Center will be SUSPENDED until further notice. Virtual meetings and activities via Zoom are being held as follows:

Come Zoom with Seniors in Action, Mondays through Fridays! These are fun, interactive Zoom sessions for ages 55+ to keep you engaged, educated and having fun.

Mondays:
Zumba Gold® with Kirsten                          10 to 11 a.m.
Come learn new dance moves and stay active!

Bridge Online with Ralph                             1 to 3 p.m.

Special Monday Presentations        12:30 to 1:30 p.m.

Tuesdays:

Chair One Fitness                                  8:45 to 9:30 a.m.
Morning stretches and light cardio movement, perfect to start your day! Each class can be done sitting or standing.

Video Yoga                                            9:45 to 10:30 a.m.

Games/BINGO                                             Noon to 1 p.m.
Come join us as we play Word List, Phrases and Number BINGO, followed by a fast-paced game of “Speed BINGO.”  These games are fun and informative!

Book Discussion Group                           10 to 11:45 a.m.
Third Tuesday of the month

Discuss your thoughts and opinions on books selected by the Book Discussion Group

June: “Rules of Civility” by Amor Towles


Wednesdays:
Yoga and meditation with Aylan       Noon to 1 p.m.

Enjoy an instructor-led Yoga class with all your SiA friends on Zoom. This class starts with wake up movements and leads into relaxation techniques while you practice proper breathing and reduce stress.

Bridge Online with Ralph                         1 to 3 p.m.

Craft & Laugh!                                           2 to 3 p.m.
Take your current project to your favorite Zoom location, share and laugh as we create and Zoom in the background.


Thursdays:
Tai Chi with Aylan                              Noon to  1 p.m.

Learn movement and Tai Chi with our live instructor, Aylan. This exercise is good for relaxation and stress reduction. Join all your SiA friends over Zoom.

Friday:
Tea Time and Trivia                                   Noon to 1 p.m.

Bring your cup of tea, coffee, or a beverage of your choice and enjoy Trivia, fun quizzes and memory games made to encourage your thinking skills. Increase your knowledge while having fun! 

Friday Night Happy Hour                                 7 to 8 p.m.  
A variety of programming including virtual travel, discussion groups, special presenters or just general chat sessions. New programs to be announced in advance of each bi-weekly session.
