Are you looking for a way for your daughter to make new friends, develop leadership skills, experience life in the outdoors and get involved with their community through service projects? Consider joining a local Girl Scout troop and give her the opportunity to be part of an organization that has been developing girls of courage, confidence and character for 110 years!
Girls in kindergarten through high school are invited to join representatives of local Girl Scout Service Unit 32-01 for an information session and troop formation meeting from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 23, at Whetstone Community Center, 19140 Brooke Grove Court. Girls and their caregivers will learn about Girl Scout activities in our local community and the Washington, D.C. area. Masks will be required and COVID guidelines will be followed to ensure safety for all attendees.
