COMMUNICATIONS ASSISTANT INTERN
The Montgomery Village Foundation Communications Department is seeking an individual with writing, accounting and administrative skills. Qualified candidate will write for the Montgomery Village News and assist in editing and proofing of publications and correspondence produced by the Communications Department; coordinate circulation of the Montgomery Village News; assist in maintaining advertising base and bookkeeping for the Montgomery Village News; and assist with web site maintenance and communication outreach efforts.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Detail-oriented, organized candidate with strong research, written and verbal communication skills. Undergraduate or graduate level student with competitive GPA in communications, English or related field. We request a commitment of approximately 20 to 25 hours per week. Minimum one year of work experience in a professional office environment. Copywriting skills a plus. Experience with Microsoft Office products, accounting software and desktop publishing software. This is a paid internship position.

Senior Pool Manager*
Starting at $17.50/hr.
Must be 25 years of age, have at least three seasons as a pool manager for MVF, or eight seasons as an operator elsewhere, or five years of full-time work experience requiring related skills and current Montgomery County pool operators license. American Red Cross or YMCA lifeguarding license, CPR/AED/PR and first aid certificates required.
Pool Manager*
Starting at $14/hr.**
Must be 18 years of age, have at least one year experience in a pool operator position and current Montgomery County pool operator license. American Red Cross or YMCA lifeguarding license, CPR/AED/PR and first aid certificates required.
Assistant Pool Manager*

Day Camp Directors and Assistant Directors
Minimum age: 21
Minimum two years experience working at a day camp (three years experience for camp director) with at least one year in a supervisory role. Current First Aid and CPR certificates, or the ability to have them prior to first day of program. Candidate must be available to work on June 12 and July 5 as well as Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. (between June 21 and Aug. 13). 40 hours per week. Salary commensurate with experience and competitive with local camp programs. Candidate must submit to a background check.
